Amanda Poynter, P.E.

Amanda, a Michigan Licensed Professional Engineer, has over 22 years of design and construction engineering experience, spanning from roads and underground utilities to non-motorized trails, site plans and streetscapes.  Since receiving her BSCE from the University of Michigan in 2000, she has worked in the consulting field as a design and construction engineer, project manager and personnel supervisor, primarily focused on local government and MDOT infrastructure projects.  In 2021, Amanda joined LS Engineering, Inc., continuing her career in design and construction oversight, while serving as the leader of LSE’s Gaylord office.   Amanda has extensive experience utilizing MDOT’s FieldManager, ProjectWise, and LCP Tracker project management software.  Her background in design and project management on numerous MDOT local agency projects provides her with the ability to administer construction projects efficiently and effectively for clients throughout Michigan.
