Nate has over 4 years of experience in the inspection field, starting his career with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) in the Youth Development and Mentoring Program(YDMP), where he gained early exposure to the field. For the next two summers, he worked as a co-op for the Montcalm County Road Commission, serving as an inspector. After graduating from college, Nate transitioned into the airport construction industry, contributing to the design and inspection of several major projects, including lead inspector on a $15 million taxiway reconstruction project involving storm and sanitary sewer systems, de-icing tank construction, and over 7 acres of concrete paving. Nate later returned to the county road commission side, focusing on inspection and estimating for local and state-let projects, and most recently worked as the lead construction inspector on an MDOT let, local bridge project and fixed object removal safety project. Currently, he is transitioning into consulting with LSE, building on his diverse experience.
