L. S. Engineering’s technicians are certified and equipped to provide a variety of material testing services.
Our engineers and technicians are certified and skilled in QA and QC testing of concrete. Technicians are MCA and ACI Level I Field Testing certified.
Our technicians are trained and skilled as Michigan Certified Aggregate Technicians, Level One, with ABC endorsements. Our technicians are qualified in sampling, sample reduction, loss by wash, sieving, and crush particle pick. We have experience testing aggregate for MDOT requirements for Local Agencies or local pit owners.
Our technicians are proficient in density testing aggregates per MDOT requirements. Our team is certified in Density In-Place (Nuclear), One-Point Michigan Cone, One Point T-99, Michigan Modified T-180, and Speedy Moisture Gage tests. LSE is licensed by the American Portable Nuclear Gauge Association for the storage and transport of nuclear density testing gauges and technicians are trained in their use and safety.
We have technicians experienced in and certified as HMA Laboratory Technician and Level 1. Our technicians have years of experience in working with HMA and mix materials and the associated MDOT requirements.
